Well, let's see.... Sunday I dragged all my kids to church. They were having a kids program during the regular time. I thought the kids would like it more. But I guess they are still pretty young. Of course all Sienna wants to do is talk and be in charge. Having to sit and be quite while other people were in charge was pretty hard for her. She lives a hard life you know....
Monday was BORING! It snowed. All. Day.
Tuesday is my day have fun my BFF. I call it my day off. We usually shop. Its fantastic!
Wednesday is bible study. I skipped and took a nap instead. Naughty.
Thursday I went to my mom's store to help out. Got a lot done. I am going to try and actually QUILT there next week. Unless my mom wants me to do something else....
Friday we had to drive into town to get formula... in nasty weather. But we made it.
So in short the week was BORING!!!!! But then Saturday came.... My good friend April organized a blood drive for a friend. Her friends daughter needed bone marrow. So it was a combo blood drove/bone marrow registry drive. So I towed all my kids there (it was in a daycare so they played while I donated. April watched them) and signed up. This was the first time I have donated. It was interesting. The questiones they asked were pretty intimate! Then you have to pass an iron test. WHich the nurse was 'surprised'. Why I'm not sure... Maybe it's the DEEP DARK circles under my eyes! Hey give me a break I stay home with 3 kids 3 and under! So then I had to sign up to be a bone marrow donor. Then I went to give my blood. Now my veins are deep and they roll. And when I say they are bad I have stories about needles and IVs that would make your toes curl and run away. So after giving the poor nurse my pep talk and pointing out the best veins for her she proceeded to get my arm ready. She wanted to use the vein that always hurts because there is a nerve there. But it was the best vein I guess. Whatev.... Well, she missed. Then she poked around. Hit the nerve about 3 times. Finally decided to stop. So they asked if I wanted to try the other arm. I was like sure.... I'm already here. While I am thinking about poor April watching my little monsters.... So they tried again. And they got it! After a little poking that is. So they took my blood. It feels good to help.

And Also
You know since I said I hoped the kids wouldn't need to go to the ER because I was too busy. Well.... I was there twice. My dad had to take me there the second time because the roads were so bad! Randy stayed home with the other 2 kids. Ruby had RSV and the flu. And let me tell you. That RSV stuff is NOT to be messed around with! Get all info and ASK questions! I had a lazy Nurse Practitioner ( I don't have anything against NP's by the way, just this one) and I didn't get all the info I should have. RSV babies NEED to have breathing treatments!!! I thought Ruby was goig to die the second evening when she woke up from a nap breathing like she just ran a marathon. I do not panic often, but I did this time. But we are all healthy and alive now. Oh and Randy got something too. So that day a couple weeks ago when the world suddenly stopped spining on its axis for approximately 5 seconds it was because of my husband. Don't worry I set him straight.
The funnies
I was reading a book with Lanna (just turned 2) and it was one of those simple books with one word and a picture. Seeing a picture of grass she repeats me. And I say "yeah grass, do you remember grass?" It has been a looooooooooong winter.
Everything you want to know!!!
Ok, so I am a bad blogger! I have been in the gloomies with this weather. So her goes another try!
So as of today I am a stay at home mom. I love my kids dearly. I love that I get to stay home with them. Do they get on my nerves daily? Yes. Do I want to sell them sometimes? Yes!! But I wouldn't have it any other way. I spent 5 years with infertility before I got my 3 kids. I have had some come and go. But it is ok. God has a plan. Maybe he could let me in on it? Probably not. But my kids are great kids. In the times that I have to *gasp* take them ALL to the grocery store. They are mostly good. Bribing works wonders! I am not ashamed of admitting this. :) Also thank you nice friendly man that stayed an acceptable distance away, but made sure I got in ok since the parking lot was slippery and I had 2 kids holding ONE of my hands and Ruby in her carseat in the other. You were very kind.

For the love of mother mary
I am so sick of WINTER! I want sun! I want warmth! I want the SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, so if you haven't guessed I am done with winter. Next season please. I don't care if that means mud and rain. Anything besides this awful snow and cold and gloom! I think just about everybody feels the same way around here. Mother's with small children are slowly going insane. I can see it in their eyes. Or it could be a reflection of mine...... I sent the kids outside today. It lasted about 5 minutes. Maybe. They came in and were all like "It's c-c-c-c-c-cold" I called them pansies and sent them back out. Just kidding. I sighed and took their boots and coats and mittens and hats off. And then I sent them downstairs! Heehee...

SLEEP!
I got some sleep finally! I had 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep last night. Well, I still woke up a few times, but that is normal for me. I snore. Which is partly due to being over weight. Which is a whole other blog post and a half....
Direct qoute from Sienna today. This is before supper. She was hungry and it had been a bad day for us. As in she was naughty and I was stuck at home with her all day.
Very dramatic sounding " I am just grouchy and I want to be alone!" Turns abuptly (hair flying and everything) and stomps to her bedroom and slams the door. I busted a gut laughing.
In other news, it was nice a sunny today. Which we really need! I got the kids around and pushed them outside. Then I had to go out because our neighbors Pit Bull came over. Yeah, try to explain to your 2 and 3 yr old that the other dog that comes over is nice, but this one isn't. And it doesn't help that they are the same color except the pit bull has a little white on his chest. And just so you know I am not just against pit bulls. This one really is kinda scary. I need to talk to the neighbors about keeping it in their yard. I will not hesitate to call the police either. My kids safety comes first no matter what.

I'm gonna be an AUNTIE!!!!
OK, so I already am one. But this is on the other side. My sisters in law are both pregnant and basically due the same day! Crazy! One has been trying for a couple years and has PCOS. So I am SO FREAKING excited for her!!! The other has been trying for a little while too. So I'm glad that she does not have any problems. I'm so excited because I get to buy more baby stuff! I LOVE buying baby stuff. I can't wait!!!!!
In other NON exciting news.... I made chicken and dumplings and creamy potato soup for lunch today. Everybody is coming over for lunch. Well, traditionally my sister and her clan and my mom and dad come over after church. Today just a few are coming due to sickness EVERYWHERE! My kids my sister's kids.... ME! BLAH! Oh well, that is the way it goes.Oh and I made brownies. Yeah, you heard me. Homemade brownies! I love baking and cooking, but I rarely have time. This morning I put a movie on and the kids have left me alone. Gotta love the TV babysitter! :) Which reminds I can't wait for summer so the kids aren't cooped up all the time.
And other news that is mostly exciting..... My mom is opening a quilting store! She is getting everything in this week. I am planning on going up there alot this week helping. I am going to take a lot of pictures so maybe I will post some here. We have to scan all her material and notions in this week before she opens. So hopefully non of the kds will get sicker and need to go the hospital! I don't have time!!! JK.....kinda...

Ok I thought of a funny
I was attempting to make coffee this morning. I am still pretty tired and we had my sister's little one here last night. And of course Randy left me to get all 4 kids up and breakfast. Two out of the three kids that wear diapers were ummm....shall we say not an easy clean up. And then this ensues - "I want Daddy's cereal. I want milk. I like daddy's cereal. I want cereal and milk" From Sienna who by all means NEVER STOPS TALKING! So I finally got all the kids their cereal and I decided that I thought to myself "Why do I not have coffee in my hands?" So I got the beans out and of course had to wash the French press first. Got the grinder out and put the beans in the French press. I'll let you think about that for a minute....... Then I went "oh CRAP!!!" And of course the french press was wet so I had to get a spatula to get the beans out ans put them in the grinder. Loosing half of them in the mean time. The beans are wet now and stick to the grinder.... But in the end I got my cup of coffee just in time to fight Lanna for it. Yes, she likes coffee. A girl after my own heart!
